Looks like Avantika 2.0 is around the corner
Tamannaah Bhatia impressed a lot of people with her character of Avantika in SS Rajamouli‘s Baahubali: The Beginning. Even though her role in the film was limited, it was exciting to an actress as a rebel warrior rather than just armcandy, as is the case in most Telugu films. Well, if you thought that was badass, wait till you hear about her training for Baahubali 2!
The actress has started taking horse riding lessons under the supervision of famous stuntman Jeetu Verma, who owns a horse stable near Ramoji Film City. Apparently the actress spends more than an hour each day to learn the skill. Speaking about the experience, the actress said that,” I play a warrior in the film and have to perform a lot of action sequences for which I needed to learn horse-riding. I have had two sessions so far and I’m enjoying it as it makes me feel closer to nature.”
Other than horse riding, Tamannaah is also brushing up on her swordplay. Her biggest challenge with swords are that even though it is fake, it is extremely heavy and so the posture has to be just right to wield it without injury. She will begin shooting for the SS Rajamouli epic from next month. Meanwhile, she will start shooting for a song opposite dance king Prabhu Dheva for the trilingual thriller which is directed by AL Vijay.
Well we can’t wait to see this upgraded version of Avantika in Baahubali 2. What about you?
